Manchester – Vibrant, brimming with life and LGBTQ+ friendly!

Over the coming month we’re going to be sharing 30 European cities which could be great options for digital nomads or remote workers. Most of them will be from our personal experience or we have researched specifically…let us know your thoughts and if you have any favourites!

Having spent a couple of days in Manchester recently it seemed like a great place to start.

As one of England’s more northern cities it provides a refreshing (and significantly cheaper) alternative to London.

Around every corner in the centre there is a different café, book store or co-working space ready to welcome you at any time of the week (covid permitting of course!).

For book lovers, thejohnrylands library provides an exciting tourist attraction as well as a quiet place to work. Alternatively, for something a little more chilled, try chapteronebooks to get your creative juices flowing.

Despite the lack of iconic landmarks in comparison to the capital, the city still has plenty to experience from architecture and cathedrals to the famous Canal Street known for the #LGBTQ+ friendly bars and clubs.

Unfortunately we couldn’t include everything that the city has to offer but check out a few of our favourite spots below:
